At Ignite Asha, selecting the right beneficiary is at the heart of our mission—and we don’t take that responsibility lightly. Each year, our Beneficiary Co-Chairs lead a rigorous selection process that begins with a detailed application and vetting procedure. With the support of our Beneficiary Outreach team, we conduct in-person site visits to assess the organization’s leadership, transparency, impact, and alignment with our mission. It’s an intensive, thoughtful process grounded in integrity and designed to ensure we’re partnering with nonprofits that are ready to grow and create meaningful, lasting change.Once selected, our commitment doesn’t end with a check. We offer multi-year grants—typically over four to five years—ensuring sustained support and stability for the nonprofit. Throughout this partnership, we maintain ongoing communication and financial transparency. We track where every dollar goes, measure impact along the way, and work closely with our partners to maximize the effectiveness of our donors’ contributions. It’s not just about funding a cause—it’s about fueling transformation with accountability and trust at every step.
Mana Sadhna Community Centers in Ahmedabad
Manav Sadhna is a volunteer-driven non-profit based in Ahmedabad, working through multiple community centers to serve underprivileged populations, especially children and women. Each center adapts its programs to the specific needs of its locality - providing education, health, nutrition, life skills, awareness, and community building.
Manav Gulzar
Ignite Asha supports the Manav Gulzar center in Ahmedabad, where hundreds of children come daily to learn, grow, and find community. The center provides a safe and nurturing space for children to study core subjects like reading and math, while also gaining exposure to computers, arts, and life skills. Girls and women from the community participate in vocational training such as sewing, embroidery, and handicrafts, equipping them with tools for financial independence. Beyond academics and skills, the center focuses on instilling values, confidence, and creativity - helping children and families break cycles of poverty and imagine brighter futures.
