Access Life is a nonprofit that supports children battling cancer and their families by offering loving, temporary homes while medical treatment takes place. It goes beyond medical care - providing free accommodation, nutritious meals, safe transportation, counseling, educational resources, hygiene kits, and recreational and psychosocial support to lessen the burden on families who often travel long distances and lack access to stable housing.

At Ignite Asha, selecting the right beneficiary is at the heart of our mission—and we don’t take that responsibility lightly. Each year, our Beneficiary Co-Chairs lead a rigorous selection process that begins with a detailed application and vetting procedure. With the support of our Beneficiary Outreach team, we conduct in-person site visits to assess the organization’s leadership, transparency, impact, and alignment with our mission. It’s an intensive, thoughtful process grounded in integrity and designed to ensure we’re partnering with nonprofits that are ready to grow and create meaningful, lasting change.Once selected, our commitment doesn’t end with a check. We offer multi-year grants—typically over four to five years—ensuring sustained support and stability for the nonprofit. Throughout this partnership, we maintain ongoing communication and financial transparency. We track where every dollar goes, measure impact along the way, and work closely with our partners to maximize the effectiveness of our donors’ contributions. It’s not just about funding a cause—it’s about fueling transformation with accountability and trust at every step.
Ahmedabad Location
The Ahmedabad location of Access Life was built with Ignite Asha’s support and continues to serve families with compassion and dignity. Children receive structured schooling support for core subjects, recreational activities to uplift spirits, counseling to ease emotional stress, and reliable transport to hospital appointments. All these services are offered free of charge, allowing families to focus on healing while children maintain a sense of normalcy, learning, and hope during their treatment journey.
